Shielding Accessories
Lamps Download
Halogen Lamps in your EMC Chamber have limited lifetime. Replacing these lamps at large heights, often more then 5meters is not an easy job. The Comtest Anechoic Chamber Lights, model 1830, replacements for Halogen have been designed for effective illumination of large Absorber lined chambers. New lamp technology offers superior specifications compared to traditional Halogen type lamps. The lifetime is specified for > 10.000 hours, (1.000-1.500 hours for the Halogen types). The light efficiency is 5 times higher at the same power consumption. For smaller rooms new model 1840 series are introduced.
Honeycombs Download
Comtest Honeycombs (models 1791/1792) are designed for applications in shielded rooms. Various standard dimensions are available to meet different air ventilation requirements
Powerline Filters Download
The Comtest mains powerline filters 4800 series are designed for any EMC strategy. The filters are bi-directional and designed to reduce equipment generated emissions from eminating into the environment as well as protecting the integrity of the installation against hostile incident emissions.
The filters are designed to comply with safety standard EN60950 and have good shielding performance up to 18GHz.
CAF-6 Download
Special, wide band ferrite material used to facilitate the use of Semi-Anechoic Rooms for full compliance immunity testing procedures in accordance to European Standards (EN), and other standards, including IEC-61000-4-3.
Fiber Optic Waveguide Feedthrough Download
Comtest Fiber Optic Waveguide Feedthrough Model 1326-008. Today fiber optics are frequently used for high speed applications. A waveguide feedthrough is required to enter a shielded room, while maintaining its shielding effectiveness level.
Data Line Filters Download
Comtest Data Line Filters Model 4700–Series. These low-pass filters have been designed to feed telephone-, control and data lines through the shielding of a faraday cage. The filters are hermetically sealed. Multistage design providing over 100dB of attenuation with minimal voltage drop. The filters can be used alone or in groups together in screened boxes for 10 up to 100 filter units. All filters are constructed in nickel-plated housings with 500mm flying leads terminated inside the case for easy connection to distribution terminals.
Fiber Optic Ethernet Converter Download
Comtest Fiber Optic Ethernet Converter Model 4750-201. Shielded room feedthroughs for high speed of computer networks cannot be covered with traditional filter techniques anymore. Highspeed communication links such as Ethernet require a fiber optic converter system to pass through the shielding properly. The Comtest Fiber Optic Ethernet converter provide an economical solution for up to 100Mbps network communication.
Trolley Download
The Comtest Transport Trolley model 1701-001 is a very stable, low profile trolley. The trolley is developed to store 24 pcs of floor absorber panels Comtest model CAF-6.
Low Profile Turntable Download
Comtest low profile turntables model 4600 are well suited for installation in measurement facilities. Due to the low profile of only 12 cm. Also flush mounting of the turntable is an option. Various diameters for the turntables are available with optional fibre optic control. Considerable reduction of measurement time will be achieved using a turn table.
