Tempest electromagnetic: Total solution for Tempest test facilities
Total solution for Tempest test facilities
Tempest measurement facilities.

All electrical and electronic equipment produces unintentional radiation, which could be intercepted by a receiving device some distance away from the equipment. TEMPEST is defined as the study of the emission of unintentional protectively marked data (usually Confidential and above) from an equipment or system. If these emissions were intercepted and analyzed they could reveal compromising emanations and thus the protectively marked data. Measurement instrumentation such as Tempest receiver systems, Mil-Std test tables and wideband antennas as well as LISN instrumentation for conducted testing procedures can be provided as a turnkey solution.

The Comtest state-of-the-art Tempest test facility is designed for a frequency range up to above 18Ghz. Measurements can be performed against NATO SDIP-27 and Mil-std procedures.

DSI Dynamic Sciences Inc. Tempest receivers are designed to comply with the requirements of measurement standards for compromising-emanations such as SDIP-27 or NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92. For example, their frequency range extends down to acoustic frequencies (typically 100 Hz), their bandwidth can be adjusted in 1-2-5 steps from a few Hertz to more than 100 MHz, and their sensitivity and noise figure aims to be close to what is technically feasible.

Tempest qualified screened rooms.

Tempest qualified shielded rooms for applications such as meeting rooms and computer server rooms are designed to customer requirements. The rooms combine a high quality of shielding effectiveness with a long life time. Design, production and installation is provided from a highly skilled engineering team and available world-wide.

A Tempest facility certificate can be issued by an independent certified body.
